This touch of heaven fell upon my face whilst walking in the meadows of wildflowers. The sensation of healing traced across my forehead; a tingling as if the Almighty Himself reached from the highlands to pour down His love upon me. In that moment I knew, beyond all shadows and shaded thoughts, every worry that weighed me down was within His perfected plan and was within His control. Peace was replacing the fear that had gripped my mind.
This same touch of heaven, I felt at my back as if to steady and provoke me to greater things. The nudge of eternity beckoned me to be relentless in my pursuit of the plans that were designed for me. Removing the need to look to my past, it was the taste of this season that filled my soul with hope and passion for things that lie ahead.
I felt the winds of heaven begin to wrap around my frame; I became lost in the eternal embrace of utmost love from my creator, as I heard Him call my name. "Come forth, from the shadows into the light. I will clothe you in dignity, poise, and grace. Courage and strength are yours. Fear and anxiety have been rendered impotent."
My feet suddenly became heavy; movement ceased. In that moment, I knew the next step I took would be the beginning of the breaking...the breaking from the bondage that had encased and imprisoned me. Sealing and locking my eyes tight, I whispered, "Until I hear you speak, my feet will not move. From this moment on, it's your voice that will lead me." Cleansing tears began seeping through my hermetic lids as silence followed.
I stood in place, waiting.
Visions and dreams began to flood my spirit, restoring my sight from within. I began to see myself through the eyes of the author and finisher of my faith.
It was at that moment, from the depths of my being, I heard Him speak just one word and it was all I needed. "Move."
