ARISE & SHINE
Oh joy of mine
Your slumber is done
Arise and shine
Despair be gone
Shake off the dust
From the grave they made
Arise and shine
In this new day
Awake dry bones
breathe in new life
Arise and shine
inhale the light
All fear cast out
your chains are gone
Arise and shine
Sing today's new song
Blessed when you rise
And blessed when you fall
Arise and now shine
Scatter hope amongst all.
In life, troubles and heartache, and pain are guaranteed, while joy, hope, and peace are not. This is how life is. Joy, hope, peace, love, and others gifts along the same line are things we need to fight for. As the saying goes anything worth having is worth fighting for. Today be filled with wonder once again. Fight for your joy...for me, this means falling to my face singing to and praising my God for the blessings I have because no matter what strife and turmoil may surround me, one thing I know for sure, I am blessed, and so are you. Our focus just needs to shift to recognize the blessings. And when we reach the understanding that we in fact are blessed...it’s time to sow that blessing into the lives of others around you.
